I pulled back instantly, but my phone buzzed again. “TOO LATE.” The room felt heavier, like the air itself was pressing down on me. I gathered all my courage and jumped up, turning on the lights. Nothing. Just my room. Normal. Silent. I laughed nervously, thinking it was over… until I checked my phone one last time. A new message. This time… a photo. It was me, asleep in my bed… taken from under it.
